Privacy policy.
Darkvalley Development places particular importance on protecting your personal data. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your information when you browse our site and communicate with us.
1. Data controller
| Controller | Darkvalley Development |
| Address | Paris, France |
| Contact | contact@darkvalley.fr |
2. Data collected
We collect only the data needed to process your request, and with your explicit consent via the contact form. The principle of minimisation guides every field: we ask only for what is strictly useful to reply to you and to begin a professional relationship.
2.1 Identity
First and last name: collected via the "Name & surname" field of the contact form. This information is required to personalise our reply, formally identify your request and, where applicable, draw up a commercial proposal or a contract. No additional civil-status data (date of birth, title, place of residence) is requested.
2.2 Contact
Email address (required): used as the main channel for replying to your request and for sending documents (quotes, proposals, reports). It is the only contact detail essential to processing.
Phone number (optional): collected only if you provide it. It is used to arrange a voice call or a video conference if the complexity of the project warrants it. You may remove this number from our records at any time, with no impact on the handling of your request.
2.3 Organisation
Name of your organisation (optional): studio, museum, agency, engineering firm, foundation, public body, etc. This information helps us frame the context (size, sector, constraints) and tailor our proposal. No sensitive legal or financial information is requested at this stage (SIREN number, turnover, headcount).
2.4 Message content
Subject: chosen from six predefined categories (Show control, Audiovisual & networking, Interactivity & flow, Applied R&D, Maintenance / calibration / audit, Other). Used to route your request to the right in-house expertise.
Free-text description: text written in the "Your message" field. It is kept as-is to preserve the nuance of your constraints, schedules, potential partners and scenographic references. You remain in control of how much information you share: do not include confidential material before an NDA is signed.
2.5 Technical data
While you browse, our servers automatically record, for security and abuse-prevention purposes:
- IP address (anonymised after 90 days): to detect intrusion attempts and abusive scraping, and to apply spam-protection measures.
- Browser type and version: to ensure site compatibility and diagnose any display errors.
- Operating system: to optimise rendering (mobile / desktop, dark mode).
- Pages viewed and timestamps: server logs kept for 12 months, aggregated for internal statistical purposes only.
- Referring page (referrer), where applicable: to understand how you reached the site.
No third-party audience-measurement tool (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Meta Pixel, etc.) is deployed without your explicit consent.
